Diseño y construcción de una alarma de nivel para el tanque de almacenamiento de agua potable de la red de acueducto en el Cerro de Monserrate

Abstract

"Este documento presenta el diseño, implementación y montaje de un Sistema de alarma de nivel para el tanque de almacenamiento y suministro de agua potable en la red de acueducto ubicado en el cerro de Monserrate de la ciudad de Bogotá – Colombia. Siguiendo las recomendaciones por la norma IEC 61508 Función de seguridad que tiene por objeto principal “El desafío es diseñar sistemas de seguridad de manera que se eviten fallas peligrosas o se controlen cuando surjan”. Este ejemplar demuestra que con la implementación de este sistema se mejora el tiempo de respuesta del operario para controlar oportunamente el sistema de las bombas para que estas no sufran algún daño. La estructura de desarrollo este documento se realiza así: en el primer capítulo se identifica y se describe la necesidad y requerimiento presentado por la empresa Monserrate S.A.S. los objetivos el desarrollo propuesto, y por qué y para que realizar la implementación del sistema. En el capítulo dos nos introducimos con la conceptualización teórica y funcional de cada uno de los componentes que componen dentro de la propuesta al diseño y construcción del sistema de alarma de nivel. Y finalizando con el capítulo tercero explicando la metodología de trabajo utilizada, el desarrollo e implementación de proyecto, montaje ajustes, conclusiones y finalizando, obteniendo mejorar la rápida reacción de respuesta por parte del operario a la función de supervisión del nivel del tanque y disminuyendo el riesgo de daño en las bombas conectadas a este tanque."

"This document presents the design, implementation and assembly of a level alarm system for the storage tank and supply of drinking water in the aqueduct network located on the Monserrate hill in the city of Bogotá - Colombia. Following the recommendations by the IEC 61508 standard Security function whose main purpose is "The challenge is to design security systems in such a way that dangerous failures are avoided or controlled when they arise". This example shows that the implementation of this system improves the response time of the operator to timely control the system of the pumps so that they do not suffer any damage. In chapter two we introduce ourselves with the theoretical and functional conceptualization of each one of the component parts that make up the design and construction of the level alarm system. And ending with the third chapter explaining the methodology of work used, the development and implementation of the project, assembly adjustments, conclusions and finalizing, obtaining to improve the quick response reaction by the operator to the function of monitoring the level of the tank and decreasing the risk of damage to the pumps connected to this tank."
